Tathata Golf Social

January 9, 2018 By Mooney Leave a Comment

Goal:

Instagram, Twitter, Ads oh my

Process:

Utilized social media to drive contests, traffic to our site, stir controversy, or just engage with fans. As the social media team came up with several ideas, I would build out several different versions that could be rotated into the various social channels using Hootsuite to schedule them out. Some ads were part of a larger campaign with the launch of the new app.

Tathata Golf Events

November 21, 2017 By Mooney Leave a Comment

Goal:

The Event that could

Process:

Putting on an event in less than two-weeks is insane, and we did it. World wind of edits, revisions, late night, constant pushing for perfection and multiple channels this event kicked a lot of butts, and we kicked it right back. Below you will find some Signs, seeing them live at the event and the emailers that lead up to it.

Vision Tech Team

October 12, 2016 By Mooney Leave a Comment

Goal:

If you build it, they will want a glass of milk

Process:

Vision Tech Team was amazing. A young upstart company with some big clients. It was a very quick paced environment and I got to work on some incredible projects with some top talent in the industry, with two very exceptional Entrepreneurs at the helm.

Mainly I was a creative manager helping both the Developers and Designers build out pages, giving them guidance on the look, quality and suggestions of Style Guides, hitting deadlines and such. I was not as good a Project Manager as I think I was but I think I did ok. I worked mainly with wireframes or compositions first, from there it was instructions with the amazing designers and developers of Vision Tech Team. Samples below of the teams and my collaboration.

Insight Resource App

April 5, 2016 By Mooney Leave a Comment

Goal:

Creating presentation platform via website

Process:

I started with quick sketches to layout the concept, sharing my sketches with the senior designer. The concept was then presented to the project managers.

Wireframes:

Once the sketches were approved, I constructed the wireframes and built them in InDesign. This showcased the overall look and feel of the template.

Automatix

March 10, 2016 By Mooney Leave a Comment

Goal:

Create a website/app based presentation

Process:

I always like to start with sketches, wireframes, final composition and production, but I had to move quickly.

Due to the time constraints (5 days), I skipped wireframing and went straight to the composition. I made sure I was on brand with Jaguar and Land Rovers content, fonts, logos, colors, and photos.

Completed Site Designs:

Once my compositions were approved, I built them in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and Lightbox.

Zia Film Festivals

March 18, 2008 By Mooney Leave a Comment

Goal:

Create Movie Screen Slide for Zia Records

Process:

The process included direction from managers to include record store day, family feel, colors, bright and bold.

I started first with getting the record store day content. I found tons of photos on our social media sites to use on top and designed the grungy lines which are based on a field where the theaters were built upon that used to grow corn. After a couple tweaks and such, we ended with the slide on the left.

For the Horror Scifi slide, I was asked to create something fun, memorable and along the theme of the slide. I was given some pointers from a manager for colors or how large the slide should be. Some positioning tweaks were used and lots of piecing various comps together to get the desired effect below.

RideNow Powersports

May 10, 2007 By Mooney Leave a Comment

Goal:

Timely & Clean ads for weekly publication

Process:

Ads could be based on a sale, or promotion from one of the various companies we were affiliated with. Created in photoshop and indesign these were my first big start into graphic design as a professional. With that I learned deadlines, how late and quickly I could work, and edits.

RideNow Girls Logo

I was tasked with utilizing current brand guidelines for the RideNow logo but implement a logo for the young ladies who would help promote at events and various outings. Utilizing sketches, and illustrator we landed on the logos below that were used for events, tshirts, bike washes, posters and merchandise.
